My bike has a flat tire and I haven't fixed it yet, so I've been taking the bus to work. For two weeks I did one Automatic Drawing every morning by holding a ballpoint pen to a blank piece of paper and, without looking, allowing the movement of the bus to dictate the movement of line. In the end I have this collection of scribbles: a blind contour cartographic experiment to document each trip to work. I arranged them into an animation to study and look for patterns in the subconscious.
